FILLED – We’re looking for a Director of Finance!

We are looking for a Director of Finance, capable of working with efficiency, rigor and integrity. The Director of Finance reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Affairs. He or she is responsible for the company’s financial management and all accounting procedures.

Main responsibilities:

Advise and support the company’s management team in making financial decisions;
Manage controls at the operational level;
Implement rigorous internal controls ;
Analyze the company’s financial performance and propose solutions to maintain and develop the profitability of operations;
Participate in the development of the organization’s global strategies, integrating the financial reality;
Preparing financial statements ;
Improve process efficiency, minimize costs and simplify operations;
Manage cash flow to ensure that the company meets its financial obligations;
Prepare and supervise the development, implementation and maintenance of budgeting and accounting systems;
Maintain good relations with auditors and banking institutions;
Improve process efficiency, minimize costs and simplify operations.

Profile required:

Bachelor’s degree in administration, accounting option and accounting designation obtained (CPA);
Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in management positions;
Excellence in cost management and controls at the operational level;
Experience in the television industry is an important asset;
Knowledge of television funding programs ;
Experience in an SME environment;
Excellent business judgment;
Professional rigor ;
Fast, proactive and able to work under pressure;
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle several files at the same time;
Problem-solving skills; solution-oriented ;
Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel) ;
Ability to use TRT software is an asset;
Excellent command of written and spoken French.
