COMBLÉ – We’re looking for a Postproduction Coordinator!

We are currently seekinga Postproduction Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Postproduction Manager, the coordinator is the link between production and postproduction, overseeing all stages up to delivery of the show, following up on production requests, and managing the postproduction team. The person must be autonomous and have knowledge of all the technical stages of postproduction, and be able to handle last-minute emergencies linked to live broadcasts. A 2-week training course is scheduled at the start of the season, and work can be done remotely or on location (in Varennes).

Job description

• Follow up on various approvals for promos, web, and topos;
• Supervision of assistant editors (schedules, task supervision, procedures to be followed, timetables, contingencies, music reports, etc.);
• Bring and prepare mobile elements on show days;
• AQTIS / FDT contracts and invoice follow-up for editors and post-prod technicians;
• Attend various content meetings;
• Send program masters to the production team;
• Prepare shipments for colo/mix/encoding/VD;
• Follow up with sponsors (make sure we have everything we need for the mobile, remind the mobile to put up the banners);
• Follow-up with the fitters (schedule and deadline for topos);
• Follow up archives for topos and promos (deadline);
• Follow up with powering up if unforeseen events occur, ensure technical standards are followed;
• Know how to update workflows depending on unforeseen events;
• All other related tasks.

Skills required

• Relevant work experience in post-production and/or post-production coordination;
• Good knowledge of post-production steps required;
• Knowledge of Aqtis conventions;
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Communication and negotiation skills, diplomacy;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure.

Working conditions

• Contract, full-time from September 1 to the end of December, with the possibility of extension thereafter until April 2023
• Salary according to experience
