COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE: The parody comedy not to be missed this winter!

COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE, the new original comedy series starring Rosalie Vaillancourt, Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais and Katherine Levac, is now available on Noovo.ca! Like the American series of our teenage years, the 8-episode, 12-minute series was shot entirely in English and dubbed into international French. Patrick Emmanuel Abellard, Antoine Pilon, Bernard Fortin, Vincent Kim and Patrice Dubois also join the cast of this zany parody directed by Alec Pronovost.

” COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE is the stupidest thing I’ve ever made, and I mean that in the best possible sense,” explains series director Alec Pronovost. “It’s pure parody in the vein of The Agent Does the Stuffing and Films de Peur. It’s a pastiche of teen shows and movies created with a lot of love. I confess, I’ve listened to seasons of The Scott Brothers!”

COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE recounts the ups and downs of Allie Thompson (Rosalie Vaillancourt), the new kid on the block at New Garden Hills Valley High School. Adolescence is never easy! Especially when the most popular girl in school, Ashley Winterbottom (Katherine Levac), decides to make you her worst enemy… Luckily, Allie can count on the help of her gay best friend Keith (Patrick Abellard) to see through Ashley’s schemes, and her boyfriend Brian (Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais), the soccer team’s handsome quarterback. COMPLETEMENT LYCÉE is a parody of ultra-melodramatic teen shows and all their clichés! Believe us, it’s crazy in New Garden Hills Valley.

COMPLETELY HIGH SCHOOL is produced by Productions ToRoS Inc. in collaboration with Bell Media and with the financial participation of the Bell Fund. The comedy is directed by Alec Pronovost (LE KILLING 1 & 2, Jeep Boys, Maria,CLUB SOLY). The LE KILLING series was a big hit on Noovo.ca and received a Numix award for Best Comedy Web Series in 2019, as well as nominations for the 2019 and 2020 Prix Gémeaux. Rosalie Vaillancourt and Alec Pronovost’s latest collaboration, Sainte Marie-Josée part en croisade, also picked up three awards at the last Prix Gémeaux gala in the digital series category: Best Direction, Best Female Performer and Best Program. COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE is co-written by Charles-Alex Durand, Alec Pronovost and Sandrine Viger-Beaulieu.
