From St-Raymond de Portneuf to Dublin, from Paris to Los Angeles, from London to Las Vegas, the documentary chronicles the exceptional career of the very first Quebec lyricist to be able to make a living from his songs. To bear witness to his talent and success, Ginette Reno, Robert Charlebois, Diane Dufresne, Céline Dion, René Angélil and many others comment on the grandiose career of their friend with emotion and authenticity. Punctuated by interviews with the author, never-before-seen archival footage and testimonials from some of the greatest performers in the French-speaking world, the program won the 2001 Gémeaux for Best Documentary and was watched by 1.3 million viewers.
