Francis Laforest appointed Executive Producer for J Productions

Francis Laforest was appointed producer in 2011 at Zone 3, where he is in charge of reality shows such as Le Lot du Diable: La Conquête de la mer, currently nominated at the C21 International Formats Awards in Cannes on October 15.

After 17 years at Zone 3, where he directed the hits Vendre ou Rénover and Tous pour un chalet, Francis joined Productions J over a year ago to take on new challenges.

As a result, he has a wealth of experience as a producer. He stands out for his know-how, his calm and his solidarity with the teams. Through his energy, Francis distinguishes himself by his solutions mode, which he puts mainly at the service of broadcasters and his colleagues.

His university studies in communications, scriptwriting and organizational communications are an asset to our company.

Transparent and rigorous, Francis adapts quickly to any situation. He instills a sense of happiness on the set, respecting both creators and technicians.
Confident, he doesn’t feel threatened by the talent of others; on the contrary, he values them.

The appointment of Francis, who has become an essential pillar of our team, is welcomed by all our permanent and freelance colleagues.

As Executive Producer, he will support all lead producers and oversee all schedules and budgets. He will also be responsible for post-production follow-up and internal communications.

He’ll bring everyone’s strengths together, ensuring that knowledge is shared and artistic cohesion achieved.
