We’re looking for a Post-Production Manager for Occupation Double Andalusia!

We are looking for a Post-Production Manager for Occupation Double Andalusia, capable of working with efficiency, rigor and integrity. The Post-Production Manager oversees the post-production department for Occupation Double Andalusia. He or she sets up the post-production teams and manages the human and technical resources needed to keep projects running smoothly. He or she is a true orchestra conductor who optimizes the talents around him or her.

Main responsibilities:

• Setting up post-production teams (hiring – contracts – schedules) ;
• Set up technical workflows/pipelines (optimized and functional) for each project. (Upstream technical validation with production teams in collaboration with the technical director);
• Validation of post-production budgets with producers and during projects;
• Establish quotations with various suppliers (encoding / VD / Mix / Colo/ music bank);
• Prepares and/or validates post-production schedules for various projects;
• Privileged contact with the broadcaster and on-air production (direct communication);
• Distribution of projects with post-production coordinators once the project has been prepared ;
• Training and preparation of each post-production person on major projects;
• Verification and validation of team invoices and FDTs ;
• Update post-production invoices in smart Data ;
• Participation in the improvement of technical and human processes;
• Ensure projects are finished (archives / final exports / music reports).

Profile required:

• College diploma in multimedia or audiovisual integration or television production and post-production or equivalent;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in post-production or similar functions;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in team management;
• Knowledge of premier / resolve / protools software, an asset ;
• Demonstrates the ability to mobilize work teams;
• Great interest in television;
• Excellent sense of initiative, organization and prioritization to respond to imponderables, and ability to follow exacting specifications;
• Good stress management and ability to manage several projects simultaneously;
• Ability to work to tight deadlines;
• Clear aesthetic sense and interest in new technologies;
• Available to work evenings and weekends on occasion.

Conditions:

• Temporary position 6 months (July to December 2023)
