Awarded at Cannes COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE, COMPLÈTEMENT INTERNATIONAL

Productions J signs with French production company Newen Studios for the French adaptation of the COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE series.

Newen Studios, a subsidiary of the TF1 Group, is a leader in audiovisual and film production and distribution in Europe. This French production company is responsible for the adaptation of the series Un gars une fille in France. Newen Studios stands out for HPI, the French fiction series of all records. Last year in Cannes, Rosalie Vaillancourt won the prestigious Prix Dior de la Révélation for her role as Allie in COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE at the international CANNESERIES festival. According to producer Marie-Pier Gaudreault, everything was settled on the Croisette just after the film went up the steps. ” We didn’t have to solicit any meetings-it’s completely crazy how, after Rosalie’s victory, everything went very quickly. ”

COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE went on to win Best Web Series at RENDEZ-VOUS QUÉBEC CINÉMA.

The PRIX GÉMEAUX for best lead role in a digital media program – comedy, recognizes Rosalie’s talent as an actress.

Actor Antoine Pilon, who shines in many renowned series and films from Dolan to Bouvier, proves that he can juggle drama and humor with ease, as his role as Ryder in COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE earns him the 1st Gémeaux of his career, for a supporting role.

This wacky concept, the brainchild of Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais and Rosalie Vaillancourt, won the best script award at the MARSEILLE WEB FEST, thanks to the text by Charles-Alex Durand, Sandrine Viger-Beaulieu and Alec Pronovost (writer on the web series).

As a mockery of American teen series, I never imagined that this crazy idea would be so popular with young audiences. Directed by Alec Pronovost, COMPLÈTEMENT LYCÉE continues to win awards, including the Jury’s Coup de Coeur at the 41st FESTIVAL DU CINÉMA INTERNATIONAL EN ABITIBI-TÉMISCAMINGUE.
