D-DAY: Julie Snyder moves… to Canal Vie!

This fall, Julie Snyder is moving to Canal Vie! In the surprising new magazine LE JOUR J, we follow the host and producer’s move as she opens the door on her private life for a rare occasion. After raising her two children in a huge century-old house, Julie boxes up the last 15 years of her life and turns the page to begin a new chapter in her life! Julie Snyder gets down to work, and is fortunate to be able to count on the expert team of Georges Bardagi, one of the country’s most renowned real estate agents, as well as the talent of designers Jacinthe Piotte and Nicola Tardif-Bourdages. But before moving to a smaller place, Julie needs to learn to let go, and a major house-cleaning is in order. It’s a chance for the Snyder clan to go back into their memories. What’s the best gift Julie ever received from Céline Dion? Which of her children’s toys is most precious to her? What is the most memorable dress of her career? What’s in the boxes in her Paris apartment that she hasn’t opened in ages? So she has to fix up the big heritage house in Outremont to sell it, decorate the new condo to live in it better, sell the treasures she’s accumulated over the years to organize a garage sale to benefit the Charles Lemoyne Hospital Foundation, and finally, move (hello stress)! Julie’s aim is to have a new décor that’s creative, bright and zen. Don’t expect to see the pantone colors of the year, Julie does everything that isn’t done in decorating. She wants to create a new interior to symbolize the changes in her life and her life’s journey. So she’s clearing away her past and her anxieties to move into a place that embodies what she’s becoming more and more every day: free, strong and serene. LE JOUR J is a 10-episode, 30-minute magazine produced by Productions ToRoS.
