Fourteen finalists are isolated in the Sainte-Adèle residence in Quebec’s Laurentian region. Each week, they take singing, diction, acting, dance and fitness classes, and interact with well-known personalities from the artistic world.

Every week, a singing assessment takes place, during which the teachers put three candidates at risk. To prove their worth, they have to perform on stage during the weekly TV show. Two people are spared: one by public vote, the other by the votes of the jury members.
Every week, a variety show is presented on Sunday evening. During these televised shows, the greatest artists from here and abroad join the academicians to perform their popular hits. At the end of each variety show, an academician will leave the adventure, until 2 finalists take part in the grand finale, during which the grand winner will be determined by the public.
