COMBLÉ – We’re looking for a Production Accountant!

We are à looking forProduction Accountantable to work with efficiency, rigor and integrity.

We are looking for a highly organized and versatile individual who will be responsible for the general accounting of the assigned production and the preparation of the end-of-production financial analysis file.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with employment contracts for all designated production employees
Prepare budget monitoring reports and inform the line producer of cost trends;
Prepare the final cost report issued at the end of a production run;
Calculate eligible labor costs to obtain tax credits;
Prepare production verification file;
Record various receipts and ensure proper follow-up of accounts receivable;
Enter production budget into accounting system

Other responsibilities :

Prepare production payroll in compliance with the rules and within the deadlines prescribed by the unions concerned;
Preparing for union discounts
Validate the conformity of processed payroll data
Issue at the end of production
Manage production accounts payable and receivable assigné(record invoices, issue payment…)
Reconcile and enter accounting data (expense reports, petty cash, credit cards)
Participate in the improvement of processes related to its tasks.

Skills required:

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar position (essential)
Be familiar with production financing (essential)
Knowledge of the collective agreements of the various production sector unions (essential)
DEC in administration or other relevant training
Knowledge of TRT software (an asset)
Interest in and ability to coordinate staff
Must be resourceful, meticulous and proactive;
Excellent time management skills;
Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail;
Ability to multi-task and be comfortable dealing with a diverse group of people;
